*Two media staging areas have been established:
Fine Arts Amphitheater, adjacent to entrance to the auditorium, where the service will be shown on video screens
Next to the Thorpe Administration Building, Administration Way, where the caisson procession will pass by
WHEN: Ms. Darden’s Service begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21
Mr. Smith’s Service begins at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22
Note: The families ask that the news media please respect their privacy in this time of mourning. They have requested that there are no cameras within the arts center. The Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office and Elizabeth City State University Police Department will direct media to the staging areas in the above-mentioned location. It is suggested that due to the high volume of traffic expected, media arrive early.
