On Nov. 9 at approximately 7:55 a.m. at Columbus Correctional Institution, offender Gregory Adams, Jr. (#0668860) was assaulted and killed at the facility.

Inmate Brandon Lineberger (#1040661) died Friday morning at Pasquotank Correctional Institution after an apparent suicide. He was found unresponsive in his cell Thursday night at approximately 11:24 p.m.
