Orlando Rodriguez
Orlando Rodriguez serves as general counsel for the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction. Prior to joining NCDAC, he served at the North Carolina Department of Justice, working first in the Public Safety Section where he spent three years primarily defending NCDAC and its staff in dozens of cases. Orlando then moved over to the Special Litigation Section, where he continued to represent NCDAC in some of its most challenging litigation, including class action lawsuits and other highly contentious matters.
Orlando has also worked as in-house counsel for a property and casualty insurance company and at a local law firm as an associate attorney. Orlando earned his bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University, his law degree from Campbell University, and in 2021, he completed the Master of Public Administration program at North Carolina State University.
