Steering Committees Meet on Tuesday, April 5

 

WHAT: The Governor’s Task Force on Safer Schools provides guidance to the N.C. Center for Safer Schools and considers future policy and legislative action that is needed to improve school safety in North Carolina.

 

WHEN: Wednesday, April 6, 2016; 10 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: On Tuesday, April 5, the Task Force’s Mental Health and Special Needs of Students Committee and Substance Abuse and Gang Prevention Committee will meet jointly from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. to discuss risk and threat assessments in schools. All meetings will take place in the large conference room at 3010 Hammond Business Place.
