The Rocky Mount Police Department, in collaboration with the United States Marshals Service and the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, will be conducting a media briefing Thursday, June 9 at 11:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers, located at the City of Rocky Mount Administrative Complex, 331 S. Franklin St. in Rocky Mount. The purpose of this event will be to discuss the details of a recent compliance enforcement and search operation that involved more than 160 officers from 15 different agencies from this and surrounding areas. Numerous arrests were made, including one of the Rocky Mount Police Department’s Ten Most Wanted.
Representatives from the participating agencies, including U.S. Marshal Scott Parker, North Carolina Public Safety Secretary Frank Perry, Rocky Mount Police Chief James Moore, Nash County Sheriff Keith Stone and Edgecombe County Sheriff James Knight, will be present to answer questions.
