A Craggy Correctional Center inmate who left his work assignment on Feb. 7 is back in custody after being captured today.
Members of the Woodfin Police Department captured inmate Steven W. Coleman (#0082606) at approximately 3:30 a.m.
Coleman, 44, was on a work assignment in Woodfin in Buncombe County when he was reported missing.
Coleman will face charges for his escape. He is a minimum custody inmate serving a sentence at Craggy Correctional Center for felony breaking and entering, as well as larceny. His projected release date was April 30, 2021.
