Lanesboro Minimum Custody Correctional Facility Offender Lamorris W. Rivers, who was reported missing from the facility Saturday evening, was apprehended Sunday, June 2 at 10:20 a.m. by K9 units from the Department of Public Safety’s Division of Adult Corrections.
Offender Rivers was serving a sentence for Speeding/Eluding arrest and was admitted to prison on August 17, 2018. He was scheduled for release August 13, 2019.
Offender Rivers is being treated for injuries unrelated to his apprehension. He will face charges for his escape.
