Orange Correctional Center inmate escapes Inmate leaves from work assignment in Durham

Corrections and law enforcement officers are looking for Robert Terrell (#0579121) a minimum-security inmate from Orange Correctional Center who left from a work release assignment in Durham this evening.

Terrell, 42, is serving a six and a half year sentence as a habitual felon and was due for release in August 2020.

He is a black male, 5 feet ten inches tall, approximately 240 pounds, with a bald head and beard.  He was last seen around 6 p.m. at his workplace on East Club Boulevard in Durham.
