UPDATE 11/11/2022: Offender Johnny Porche (#0327128) who escaped from the Davidson Correctional Center on November 7, was taken into custody last night by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. He was recaptured and transported to jail without incident. He will be returned to prison to face escape charges.

State correctional and local law enforcement officers are seeking Davidson Correctional Center offender Johnny Porche (# 0327128), who escaped from the minimum custody prison this morning by scaling a fence at the facility and running away at 1:15 a.m.
He was last seen wearing white kitchen pants, a green shirt jacket, grey t-shirt and one white New Balance high-top tennis shoe.
Originally from Madison County, Porche is a 46-year-old white male. He was serving a 41-month sentence for felony breaking and entering, and a probation violation. He was scheduled to be released Feb. 22, 2023. An escape warrant is being prepared.
