MEETING INFORMATION: The North Carolina Joint Reentry Council members will convene a virtual meeting to discuss and approve the state’s Reentry Strategic Plan. The strategic plan is designed to address educational, rehabilitative, and reentry services for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals in North Carolina. 

Gov. Roy Cooper directed the creation of the Reentry Strategic Plan in Executive Order 303, signed in January. The Order aims to improve rehabilitation and reentry services for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people in North Carolina through specific directives developed in partnership with each cabinet agency, the Office of State Human Resources and the Post-Release Supervision and Parole Commission.
