Courts:
If you wish to be notified of court proceedings and you are the direct victim or next of kin, contact your victim witness legal assistant at your local district attorney's office.
N.C. Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice:
If you wish to be notified of the prison, probation or parole custody status of an offender, call anytime at NCSAVAN, (877) 627-2826 or by Internet, click here.
If you wish to receive notifications by mail or discuss your case with a victim services specialist at the Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice, Victim Services Unit, contact them during normal business hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 1-866-719-0108.
Jail Custody:
If you wish to be notified of the jail custody status of an offender, call NCSAVAN anytime at (877) 627-2826 or by Internet click here.
State Attorney General's Office:
If you wish to be notified regarding a case that the Attorney General's Office is prosecuting or if you are a victim wishing to be notified regarding the status of an appeal, contact the Attorney General's Office of Victims and Citizens Services for help during normal business hours at (919) 716-6780 or by internet at: Attorney General Stein’s Public Protection Section.
Mental Health Hospitals and Facilities:
Notifications are not provided to victims regarding offenders who are found not guilty by reason of insanity.
