Officials with the NC Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) have promoted Bill Woolard to Division Director in Judicial Division 1, effective April 6.In his new position, Woolard will lead Community Supervision operations in the 1st Judicial Division, which covers 32 counties in the eastern and coastal portions of the state.

Edward Castelo has been named as the new warden of Wake Correctional Center.
Robert Norvell has been named the warden of Pender Correctional Institution in Burgaw.
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is hosting a March 28 hiring event for Correctional Officer candidates at Harnett Correctional Institution.
It is the 55th NCDAC facility or operation recommended or awarded ACA accreditation.
