Officials with the NC Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) have promoted Daniel Attaway to the position of Judicial District Manager (JDM) in Judicial District 17, effective March 3.In his new position, Attaway will oversee Community Supervision operations in Rockingham, Stokes and Surry counties.  The district includes 60 probation/parole officers and staff supervising more than 2,300 individuals sentenced to probation, parole or post-release supervision.

It is the 47th NCDAC facility either to be recommended for or awarded the distinction.
WHAT: Quarterly meeting of the State Reentry Council Collaborative (SRCC). The SRCC was established by the North Carolina General Assembly and Gov. Roy Cooper in 2017 and is managed by the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction. The SRCC is made up of representatives from across state and local government whose agency responsibilities intersect with the incarceration or reentry process for people in North Carolina.
It is the 46th NCDAC facility to be recommended for or awarded the distinction.
