Facility Programs and Services

The Facility Programs and Services team oversees and supports a broad array of policies, processes and partnerships to provide services to offenders at all NCDAC facilities.

Eligibility for and eventual placement into specific programs and services is determined by a variety of factors, including individual Risk & Need Assessments (RNA), individual interest, and agency or facility priorities. Programs and services available include:

  • Opportunities for skills training and employment, 
  • Citizen participation and community engagement, 
  • Family services and parenting programs, 
  • Cognitive-behavioral interventions, 
  • Apprenticeship and work release opportunities, 
  • Individual case management, 
  • Diversionary programming, and more.

The team is supported by experienced staff who coordinate:

  • Rehabilitative Diversion Units
  • Mutual Agreement Parole Program
